- David Gardner, 69, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. He was born on August 15, 1947.
He would like to express his great appreciation and gratitude to the many good and honest people he had the pleasure of doing business with. During the past, nearly two decades in the wreath business, many thanks to Kelco Industries of Milbridge, Harbor Farms (formerly of Deer Isle), Winter Wreaths of Franklin, and Dickens Farms of Eastbrook.
During the winter shrimp and scallop season, David enjoyed dealing with the Wood family of Bucksport, Beals Lobster Pound of Southwest Harbor, Richard Gray of Milbridge and the best shrimpers in the state from MDI.
When blueberry season rolled around every summer, David loved working with growers in the area like the Lounder family in Ellsworth, the Dicksens family in Eastbrook, Homewood farms in Blue Hill, and especially, the Hordan Family of Waitham.
He also had a long and rewarding relationship with Toby Montgomery of Frankfort in the Antler business.
Following David's wishes there will be no services.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Bucksport. (mitchelltweedie-young.com)
