Darlene's Story

LAGRANGE - Darlene Cheryl Eastman, 66, passed away unexpectedly Sept 26, 2015, at a Bangor hospital. Darlene was born in Old Town, September 27, 1948, the daughter of James Eastman and Geneva Treadwell.

Darlene was a 1966 graduate of Old Town High School. She was funny, upbeat, and always smiling. A quote from her yearbook; "Better known as "Red," hails from Lagrange, always laughing or cracking a joke, planning on a long trip after graduation."

Darlene is survived by her mother, Geneva Eastman; son, Ron Ryan and his wife Francia of Naples, FL; her brothers, Jim Eastman and wife Carol of Lagrange, John Eastman of Bangor, Brian Eastman of Andover, NY; sister Carolyn Eastman of Lagrange; grandson Zachary of Naples, FL, and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Darlene was predeceased by her father James, her special nephew "Chip" Garner, her special dog Mattie.

Friends may call from 5-7pm Friday, October 2, 2015, at Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St. Old Town, Me. At 6pm Pastor Bruce Stevens will be conducting a celebration of life.
