Daniel's Story

MADAWASKA - Daniel A. Madore, 75, passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 21, 2015. He was born in Madawaska on January 26, 1940, son of the late Aurel E. and Lourdes M. (Pelletier) Madore.

In his younger years, Danny worked at Fraser Paper. He was a beloved and much respected school teacher in Madawaska for thirty four years, where he coached many sports for several years. Danny was a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Madawaska, a devoted volunteer and financial chairman for the Four Seasons Trail Association. He enjoyed golfing, especially with his son, carl, playing cards with the boys, and bowling.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of fifty years, Rinette (Blanchette) Madore of Madawaska; his children, Carl Madore and his wife Kathy of Oregon, Renae Madore and Craig Madore both of California; his grandchildren, Cole and Riley Madore of Oregon; his brothers, Clifford Madore and his wife Beverly, James Madore and his wife Paquerette both of Madawaska; his sister, Eileen Madore of Madawaska; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Danny was predeceased by his sisters, Claire (Madore) Pelletier and Joan (Madore) Senechal.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Friday, September 25, 2015 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may offer their condolences at the church from 9am until time of service on Friday.
