Conway's Story

EXETER - Conway Lloyd Andrews, Sr., 81, went to be with his Lord January 30, 2016. He was born December 5, 1934 in Guilford, a son of Henry and Emma (Buzzell) Andrews.

He served in the U. S. Navy and was a self-employed woodsman. He had also worked at Eastland Woolen Mill in Corinna and Guilford Industries in Newport and Guilford. Conway was a member of the Corinna American Legion and served as sexton for the Town of Exeter for many years.

He is survived by his brother Craig Andrews of Sebec; his children, Conway, Jr. (Clay) and wife Betty of Palmyra, Clint and wife Kelly of Exeter, Tracy Reed of Guilford, Tina and husband Mike Tremblay of Newport, Benny Hobson of Florida, Raymond and wife Kim Hobson of Maryland; grandchildren Angela, Sheree, Daniel, Mindy and husband Eric, Darci and husband Shawn, Hali and husband Jeremy, Sierra, Devin and Abby; great grandchildren, Brittney, Hunter, Emily, Carson, Braden, Kaden, Rhett, and Gerald.

He was predeceased by his wife Margaret, brothers Henry (Skip) and Joe, and a daughter Bernice (Bunny).

Memorial services will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, February 13th, at the Gateway Pentecostal Church, Route 7, Newport. A spring committal service will be held at Chamberlain Cemetery, Exeter.
