Conrad's Story

ST. FRANCIS - Conrad Pelletier, 90, past away peacefully May 11, 2016 at a Fort Kent Health Care Facility. He was born in Blue River Quebec, Canada on December 30, 1925 the son of Tom and Marie Jean (La'Combe) Pelletier. Conrad worked as a lumberjack for Seven Island's for 20 years. He was an avid outdoors man, especially loved hunting.

He is survived by five children, John and wife Wanda Pelletier of St. John, Steve Pelletier of St. Francis, Lynn and husband Eddie Edgemon of Huntsville, Alabama, Julie Pelletier of Winnapeg, Manitoba, Canada, and Scott Pelletier of St. Francis; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and by his sister, Emily Bossie of Blue River, Canada. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Conrad was predeceased by his wife, Geneva (Morin) Pelletier in 2013; one sister, Norma Matte; and two brothers, Edmour and Kenneth Pelletier.

Friends may call Tuesday May 17, from 9 - 10:30 am at the Daigle Funeral Home, 14 East Main St. , Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 am Tuesday at the St. Charles Catholic Church, St. Francis, Committal services will follow in the St. Francis Cemetery.
