Houlton - Clyde M. Malone Jr., 53, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, March 11, 2017, at a Houlton hospital. He was born January 11, 1964, in Houlton, the son of Clyde Malone Sr. and Marguerite (Wiggins) Malone.
Clyde grew up in Houlton and graduated from Houlton High School in 1982. He then went to work teaching Forestry at S.A.V.E., Travelers for eleven years and drove long haul truck for Millard Wright before retiring due to his health. He enjoyed fishing and snow sledding. Clyde was a wonderful person, with a great sense of humor and would do anything for anyone.
He leaves behind his fiancee, Anne Goodine of New Limerick; three children, Casey Malone and her significant other, Alex Hanington, of Hodgdon, Chad Malone and his significant other, Ashley Estabrook, of Houlton and Jaska Malone of Rockland; a sister, Eula Lorom and her husband, Rodney, of Hammond; and four "adopted children," Dustin Shields, Danielle Shields, Jason Miller, all of Houlton, and Mike Forest of New Limerick.He will also be remembered by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, as well as several trucking buddies. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Mark Malone.
