LAPEER, MICH. - Clyde Ashley Curtis, 97, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away May 25, 2016, in the comfort of home surrounded by family and loved ones. He was born March 8, 1919, in Caribou, Maine.
Clyde was a World War II veteran who earned two purple hearts during battle. He was a truck driver and loved working on anything.
He is survived by two sisters, Idella Perry and Barbara Coroniti. He was preceded in death by his brother, Elmer Curtis; sisters, Mildred Woods and Rosanna M. Humphrey.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements for cremation entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer, MI.
