Clifford's Story

FORT KENT - Clifford Audibert, Sr., 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Friday, September 18, 2015, at a Fort Kent Health Care Facility. Clifford was born June 18, 1926 in Fort Kent, the son of John and Catherine (Collin) Audibert.

He was a life member of the Fort Kent Knights of Columbus in the Fourth Degree, Council # 0352. He was a farmer all of his life which he truly enjoyed.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Lucille (Labbe) Audibert of Wallagrass, daughters; Linda and husband Dick Bilodeau, Mae Audibert, Claire and husband Gerry Burton, Denise and husband Dale Bourgoin, and sons; Don and wife Laura Audibert, Cliff and wife Deirdre Audibert, Tom and wife Jessica Audibert, Robert and wife Serina Audibert. Seventeen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren. His sister, Priscille Ivon and brother, Lawrence and wife Claudette Audibert. His son-in-law Mike Paradis. and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Louise Paradis in 2001. Sisters, Catherine Audibert, Rita Ambrose, and by one brother Leopold Audibert. Clifford will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Friends may call from 6 to 8pm Monday, Sept 21, and from 9 to 11 am Tuesday at the Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial with full Fourth Degree Honors will be celebrated Tuesday 11 am. at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services will follow in the parish cemetery.
