Clayton's Story

WASHBURN - Clayton Walter Levesque, Sr. passed peacefully May 15, 2016 with family and friends by his side. He was born June 8, 1941 in Caribou, the son of Harold and Vera Levesque Parsons (Cray).

He worked for farmers in his younger years and became truck driver for the better part of his life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and ATV riding.

He was predeceased by his wife of forty years Joyce E. Levesque. Surviving him are his son, Clayton W. Levesque, Jr. of Presque Isle; daughters, Darcy Brooker and husband Gene of Limestone, Tarry Pelkey of Fairfield, Karry Baechle and husband Richard of Washburn; 12 grand children; 10 great grand children; and many nieces and nephews; brothers, Irvin Levesque, Sr. and wife Margaret of Marshill, Shelburn Levesque and wife Valerie of Mapleton, Harold Levesque and partner David of Frankfort; sisters, Elva Campbell and Zonnie Tuft and husband Ronald of Frankfort. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. He was also predeceased by a brother, Lyle Levesque and fiancée of two years, Diane Tarbox (Rand).

Services will be at Faye Funeral Home in Presque Isle, ME with calling hours from 1-2pm on Saturday, May 21 and the funeral service following. Burial to follow at the Marshal Cemetery in Westfield, ME.
