Christine's Story

BRADLEY - Christine G. Norman, 86, wife of Joseph R. Norman, died April 29, 2015 at a Bangor hospital. She was born Aug. 22, 1928 in No. New Portland, the daughter of Roy and Fern (Hewitt) Stewart. Christine was a spunky lady and a dedicated homemaker. She loved her flower garden and enjoyed square dancing.

Surviving in addition to her husband of Bradley are three children, Chester "Chet" Whitney and his wife, Doreen of Old Town, Sheila Palmer and her husband, Stuart of Madison and Cheryl Tate and her husband, Donnie Tate of Charleston; six grandchildren, Cassie Frye, Missy Tinder, Jennifer Whitney, Kelly Norman, Joseph Hunt and Jessica Goody; several great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Rose Norman of New Vineyard; two sisters, Natalie Hill of Farmington and Winifred Bradley of Temple; one brother, Roy Stewart, Jr. of New Vineyard; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Robert Norman, two granddaughters, Jamie and Kathy Goody and by a brother, Francis Hewitt.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions in memory of Jamie Goody to the Elizabeth Levinson Center, 159 Hogan Road, Bangor, Maine 04401 or at Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, Bangor and Brewer.
