Text size

Titusville - Christine Elizabeth Murray Dyer of Titusville, Florida, and Bangor, Maine, died Thursday, May 25th, after a brief illness. She was born in Belgrade, Maine, on April 20th 1930 and spent the majority of her adult life on Pearl Street and Mt. Hope Ave in Bangor, Maine, only moving to Florida several years ago to be closer to her caregivers Karen and Jack Simpson. She is survived by her children, David Dyer, Karen Simpson, Stephen, Paul, and Danny Dyer and grandchildren both in Maine and Florida whom she adored! She was extremely intelligent, funny, caring, and selfless. She struggled often with mental health which left her reaching out to the community for assistance, and the people of city of Bangor and the community, always responded positively. The family wants to thank everyone from the bottom of their hearts, "to anyone and for anything that was ever done for Christine Dyer we thank you!" She lived 87 years and is now at peace. Anyone wanting to send communications can send them to Karen Simpson at 4394 Kenneth Court Titusville, Florida 32780. She was cremated in Titusville followed by a private service, there will not be a service in Bangor. Remembrances are encouraged to be in the form of Donations to: The Shepard Godparent Home, P.O. Box 616, Bangor, Maine 04402-0616
