East Millinocket - Cheryl L. Lindsay, 46, passed away peacefully Friday, June 30, 2017, at her home after a brief battle with lung cancer.
She was born May 6, 1971, in Island Falls, the daughter of Raymond E. and Sheila (Drew) Faulkner.
Sherrie, as she was better known by her family and friends, was an avid motorcycle rider. She enjoyed riding with the United Vets Motorcycle Club of Houlton as a Lady Rider. Sherrie was involved with many fundraising rides that the club had, including Make A Wish, teddy bear, and the Toy Run for the Salvation Army. Sherrie also loved being "Mimi" to the four lights of her life, her grandchildren, Gavin, Gabrielle, Ryleigh, and Makennah. In her down time you could find her curled up on the couch, watching her favorite show, "Grey's Anatomy".
Sherrie is survived by her husband, Fred Lindsay, Jr. of East Millinocket; her father, Raymond Faulkner of Calais; her three daughters, Brittany Carver and her husband Daulton of East Millinocket, Chelsey Faulkner and her fiancée Michael Splan of Sherman, and Taylor McLaughlin of Medway; her brother, Raymond and his wife, Lana of Baring; two nephews, Chris and his wife Danielle, and Nathan, all of Woodland; one great nephew, Noah; two brothers in law, Richard and his wife Patty, and Mark and his wife Pam, all of West Enfield; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Sherrie was predeceased by her mother, Sheila, father and mother-in-law Frederick and Madeline Lindsay, half-sister, Karen Paradis, grandparents, Robert and Phyllis Drew and David and Alice Emery, and an aunt, Deborah (Drew) Grant.
Friends are invited to visit with the family 1-3 p.m. Thursday, July 6 at the Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack Street, Millinocket, where memorial services will begin at 3 p.m., officiated by the Rev.
