Cheryl's Story

LEE - Cheryl Cote, 57, died unexpectedly on April 14, 2015. Born in Bangor, March 2, 1958, she was the daughter of Louis Daigle, Jr., and Carolyn Wickett Daigle.

She graduated from Old Town High School, played in the high school band, and also liked playing piano and guitar.

She liked learning about the family tree and Penobscot Indian ancestry as well as her French and English heritage. In earlier years, she enjoyed hunting and was a successful deer hunter and loved wild game dinners.

Cheryl had a love for animals and she had horses and trained them for harness racing and adopted horses that were retired from racing. Dogs and cats were often part of her home life.

She was predeceased by her mother Carolyn, her grandparents Louis and Doris Daigle Sr., Stanley and Helen Wickett.

She is survived by her father Louis Daigle Jr. and girlfriend Judy, of Old Town, her sister Rhonda Daigle of Bangor, her brother John and wife tish and niece Wren, from Old Town, her brother Greg Daigle and wife Angel and niece Falyn, and nephew Brandon and grand niece Addilynn from Kenduskeag, and her son Jeremy Cote and grandchildren Laci and Cameron from Nashville, Tennessee.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service at 10:00am on April 18th, 2015, at Christ Church of Faith, 2274 Bennoch Road, in Old Town, Maine. A lunch will follow the service at the church.
