BREWER - Charlotte M. Harding, 71, died at home quietly and peacefully, Jan. 11, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 15, 1943 in Bangor, the daughter of George A. Madeline A. (Leavitt) Harding.
Charlotte worked at Miller's restaurant in Bangor for over 40 years. She had customers from all over the country and Canada ask for her table when going to Miller's to dine. Charlotte was the only waitress that could pour water over someone's head and still get a big tip. She was very devoted to her family. She loved ceramics, crocheting, animals and sunflowers.
Surviving are children, Tammy McCue and her husband, James McCue of Brewer and Christopher Harding of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Jessica Hanson, Joel Hanson, Morgan Sanborn, Christopher A. Harding, Matt Harding, Kyra Johnson, and Sam Johnson; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Clark of Bangor Frances Fay of Waterville; a brother, George Harding of Seattle Washington.
She was predeceased by her parents and by a brother, Richard Harding. Her family gratefully thanks Joyce Curtis and Family, Lisa Googins, Judy Buzzell and Brenda Thurston for helping care for Charlotte.
Family and friends may visit 2 - 4 PM Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor where a service honoring her life will be held at 4 PM as the visitation concludes. Burial will be in the spring.
