- Charles H. Bagley, 78, died November 30, 2016, at a Pittsfield hospital. He was born May 17, 1938, in Parkman, a son of Alphes and Myra (Getchell) Bagley.
Charles graduated from Guilford High School, Class of 1957. He worked at Dexter Shoe Company retiring in 1999. He was a member of the Harmony Fire Department and the Maine Antique Tractor Club.
He is survived by 2 sons, Ronald and wife, Barbara of Cambridge, Brian and wife, Gloria of Harmony; his special friend of 15 years, Sylvia Curtis of Athens; 2 brothers, Ralph and wife, Linda of Harmony, and George of Florida; 4 sisters, Ethel Pike of Wellington, Evelyn Nichols of Skowhegan, Elaine and husband, Homer Bussell, Marilyn and husband, Hal Currier, all of Parkman; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Charles was predeceased by his wife of 38 years, Sylvia; a brother, Wayne; and a sister, Pluma Pike.
Memorial services will be held at noon, Thursday, December 8th, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, with the Rev. John Johnston officiating. Friends may call from 11 A.M. until the time of services. Interment will be in the Chadbourne Cemetery, Harmony.
