FROSTPROOF, Fla., and HOULTON - Cary Barton Currier of Frostproof, Florida, and Houlton, Maine, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015, in Sebring, Florida, with his dear friends, Al and Mary George of New Hampshire and Frostproof, Florida, by his side. Cary was born in Houlton, Maine, on February 3, 1951, the son C.R. Bill and Jeanette Currier.
He graduated from Houlton High School in 1969. Cary was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam era. He was a truck driver for many years until cancer forced him to retire.
He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Pahel of Ellsworth, Maine and Jeanette Currier of Ludlow, Maine, and a great-granddaughter, Sydney Pahel. Cary leaves behind his mother, Jeanette Currier of New Limerick, Maine; his brother Chip and wife Dina of Houlton, Maine; his brother Robin of California; and brother Jay of New Limerick, Maine.
Cary was a member of the American Legion Post #47 of Houlton, Maine.
Cary wished to be cremated. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
