BROWNVILLE JUNCTION - Calvin Jacques, 85, passed away at Maine Veteran's Home, Bangor, Aug. 8, 2015. Son of Leon and June (Brown) Jacques, he was born March 23, 1930, in Brownville Junction.
Calvin spent four years in the Navy and retired from Great Northern Paper Company in 1993.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Debra Callahan and Ella MacKenzia, both of Florida; one special stepdaughter, Barbara Mannisto and husband, David, of Williamsburg, Maine; two stepsons, David Worster and wife, Ivy and Todd Worster and wife, Beth, all of Brownville Junction; one brother, Clarence Jacques of Houlton; sisters, Lillian Curtis of Maryland, Connie Serbek and Berdena Dew, both of Connecticut, Dorothy Chapman of Mount Vernon, Wash.; Veronica McLeod of Massachusetts and Annelle Gallant of Brownville Junction; grandson, Stephen Strout and wife, Holly; great-grandchildren, James, Adam, Chase, Keni and Peyton; grandson, Reid Worster; granddaughters, Rachel Worster and Lauren Worster, all of Brownville Junction.
At Calvin's request, there will be no services at this time. A later date will be announced.
