Buck's Story

CORINNA - Buck Lee Charles 20 died unexpectedly June 6, 2015 in Plymouth due to an automobile accident. He was born in Bangor May 21, 1995 the son of Glenn MacAuther and Hallie lee (Hower) Charles. Buck was a graduate of Nokomis Regional High School in Newport, class of 2014; during this time he attended Tri County Vocational Tech School in Dexter taking the Precision Machining Course. He worked at McKenney Machine in Corinna for three years. For the past year he attended Central Maine Community College in Lewiston. He was a former Boy Scout in Troop 65 Corinna. He loved the outdoors especially while snowmobiling on his Ski Doo, hunting, and fishing. He was a good friend to many always smiling and joking. He was always helping others and helping friends in the community. He was loved by "everyone who knew him." Buck loved to attend Antique Auto Car Shows with his father "Big Buck."

He is survived by his Father Glenn "Big Buck" Charles of Corinna, his grandmother Lue V. Charles of Corinna, his twin sister, Georgia H. Charles of Corinna, 3 aunts, Cheryl Charles of Corinna, Kimberly Stetson and her husband Josh of Hermon, Michelle Paris of Newport, one uncle, William Charles and his wife Misty of Monson, several more aunts uncles and cousins.

A celebration of Bucks Life will be held from 9am to 4 pm Sat. June 13, 2015 at "Big Bucks" house 297 Airport Road Corinna. In lieu of flowers come and bring a dish of food to share with friends and memories to share with Buck family. A scholarship fund is being set up in Buck's memory.
