Brian's Story

LIMESTONE - Brian Douglas Caldwell, 53, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2014, due to a battle with cancer with his family by his side. He was born June 27, 1960 in Fort Fairfield, the son of Gerald and Ann (McKenzie) Caldwell.

Brian worked as a self-employed contractor on many residential and commercial projects. He was the kind and quiet type who enjoyed hunting and fishing, he had a passion for riding his Harley Davidson and his 68 Camaro. Although he was battling cancer, he always had a smile on his face and always appreciated the many nurses and doctors who provided him with outstanding care at Cary Medical Center.

Brian is survived by his mother Ann Caldwell of Limestone; one son Joshua Caldwell of Presque Isle, one daughter Abby Gauvin of Caribou, one grandchild Baylee Caldwell of Presque Isle; three brothers Kirk Caldwell and his wife Sher of Limestone, Terry Caldwell and wife Maria of Limestone, and Gary Caldwell and wife Sheila of Presque Isle. Two sisters; Cheryl Johndro and husband Dwain of Limestone and Pamela Caldwell and husband Kevin Pelletier of Limestone. Also, several nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles. Brian was predeceased by his father Gerald Caldwell and his son Jacob D. Caldwell. Friends may call at the Faye Funeral Home 5 Erskine Street Presque Isle Sunday, from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 26, 2014 at 10am from the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Ellen Cleaves, Officiating.
