Bradley's Story

OLD TOWN - Bradley Jenkins 49, devoted friend, brother, and son of James R., Sr. and Ruth A. (Pelletier) Jenkins, of Stafford Springs, CT, sadly departed this world on Thursday, September 17, 2015, surrounded by his loving family and friends.

An inspiration, Brad was a man who wanted to pave the way for the freedom to be who we are. He was a man with an incredible zest for life. He loved everyone he came in contact with and was as equally loved by everyone whose lives he touched. When Brad wasn't playing jokes or using his brilliant smile and vivacious personality to bring laughter to the room, he was dancing wherever he went or riding his cherished Harley. The world lost a wonderful human being, but now he is at peace soaring with the eagles.

He is survived by his beloved pets Sadie, Gizmo, and Max; his parents, James and Ruth Jenkins; three siblings, Christine Jenkins, James R. Jenkins Jr., and Jennifer Helmick; and many treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends. He was predeceased by his brother, John R. Jenkins, paternal grandparents, Richard and Mary Jenkins; maternal grandparents, Alvie and Elinor Pelletier; two uncles, Douglas Pelletier and Richard Jenkins Jr.; and an aunt, Patricia Swanson.

Friends may call Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 3-6pm at Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main Street, Old Town, ME. Brad's final ride, on his Harley, to his resting place will be departing to Lubec on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 9 am from Birmingham Funeral Home parking lot.
