BLANCHE's Story

PLYMOUTH - Blanche B. Norris, 71, died October 5, 2014 at a Bangor hospital. She was born November 21, 1942 in Hartland, a daughter of Ralph and Arlene (Dunton) Shaw. She had been employed as a handsewer.

Blanche enjoyed her birds and defended her bird feeders with a BB gun. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, homemaker, and grandmother. She was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.

She is survived by a son, Scott and wife, Christine Norris of Union; 2 sisters, Patricia Morrison of Ellsworth and Barbie and husband, Reginald Gray of Sedgwick; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles on July 29, 2014; a son, Timothy Norris; a daughter, Joanna DeBeck; and a sister, Joanne Shaw.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, October 10th, at the Sawyer Cemetery, Plymouth. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport. Those who wish may leave written tributes at www.CrosbyNeal.com.
