EAST HOLDEN AND BANGOR - Beverlie A. Lailer, 79, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, died January 2, 2015 peacefully at her daughter's home in Bangor; and now abides in God's grace and peace forever. She was born July 3, 1935 in Rockland, Maine to Vernard and Doris (Maloney) Barnes. She attended Camden High School, Camden, Maine. She was employed by New England Telephone/Nynex for 28 years before retiring in 1990. She was a Life Member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur C. Lailer III, in 2013; and is survived by four daughters, Crystal Ayer and husband, Ernest Ayer, Laurel Beal, Cheryl Price, and Kathy Reeves and husband, Thayne Reeves, twin sons, Dana and David Heal and his wife, Karla Heal; 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; and one beloved sister, Geraldine O'Connor. She and her husband lived in Florida after retirement, but her heart was always in Maine. She will be remembered for her DownEast sense of humor. A Celebration of her Life will be held at Grace Bible Church in East Holden, Monday, January 5, 2015 at 3:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Maine.
