- Betty J. Melia, age 73, Sangerville, slipped peacefully away to walk with the Lord on July 2, 2017. Betty lived in Guilford most of her life, and worked as a weaver in the Guilford Woolen Mill. Betty loved dancing, country music and fishing, but her greatest love was her family. Betty is survived by her loving son John Levesque and his wife Sharon of Sangerville, a son Rick Levesque of Rumford, and daughter Flo Bridge and her husband Jerry of Millinocket. She was most proud of her grandchildren and loved them dearly, Joe Levesque and his wife Autumn of Detriot, Ryan Levesque and wife Lauren of Raleigh, NC, a very special granddaughter Kristi-Lyn Levesque of Jacksonville, FL, and Benjamin of Rumford. Betty adored her great-grandchildren, Sophia and Ainsley of Detroit, and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of twin great-grandsons in December.
Betty will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Per her request, no funeral will be held, instead, there will be a small private family service at a later date.
