DUBOIS, PA - Beth Ann (nee Green) Wark, 51, of DuBois Pennsylvania passed away Friday, May 15th.
Beth is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of thirty years, Graham "Shoey" Wark, beloved daughters Kayla Beth Wark of Dover, NH and Andrea Overton and husband Michael of Stratham, New Hampshire. She was tremendously proud of her daughters who she loved so dearly, letting them know this often. Her greatest joy in life came in just these last few years, as her role as "Nanny" to grandchildren Aubrie Beth and Austin Michael Overton, also of Stratham. Their innocence, sassiness, and youthful wonder brought her so much happiness. It goes without saying that her family is already missing her beyond measure, and will forever love her "to the moon and back." She is additionally survived by her loving parents Roy and Lucinda "Jeanne" Green of Presque Isle, ME, brother Jeffery Green and his partner Michael Strout of Tucson, AZ, brother Mitchell Green and wife Sheila of Caribou, ME, mother-in-law Lucille Wark of Caribou, ME, and many loved nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was predeceased by her beloved maternal grandparents Willard and Phyllis Chapman, paternal grandparents Oscar and Doris Green, and father-in-law George Wark.
Though she was recently living in Pennsylvania and spent two years in Toronto, Canada where she loved the city skyline, Northern Maine and the seacoast of New Hampshire are where she called home. She spent her life devoted to her own children and others, cherishing her 25 years as an elementary school teacher. Beth was an avid crafter and loved to scrapbook, so much so that she had a whole room devoted to her supplies. She loved music and reading, and she could often be found engaged in both at the same time. While her greatest love was her family, her second greatest was her pets. Our family has had many animals in our home over the years, but none she loved greater than her predeceased dogs Angel and Daisy who we know are greeting her on the other side.
Donations in her memory can be made to the NHSPCA, honoring her love of all animals. Her family would appreciate it if loved ones wore the color red to her services if possible, as it has always been her favorite color. A Celebration of her life will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 3 PM at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Private burial will be in the Maple Lane Cemetery, Stratham. Please visit .
