Bertha's Story

CARIBOU - Bertha G. Ouellette, 86, passed away, October 22, 2014 at Cary Medical Center. She was born in Caribou on August 14, 1928, the daughter of Ovid and Laura (Levesque) LeClair.

She was a faithful life long member of sacred heart church, a supportive and loving farmers wife and loved her family and community; she also loved her bingo family.

She is survived by her son: Harold Ouellette, and his partner, Vicki Martin, her daughter: Ruth Chamberlain, and her brother: Ernest Soucy. She will also be missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many godchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband: Kenneth June Ouellette, her son: Gerald Ouellette, her daughter: Helen Thibodeau and her husband, Roger, her siblings: Amanda Kidney, Addis Levesque, Romeo Levesque, Clifford LeClair, Edgar Levesque, and a son-in-law: Donald Chamberlain.

Friends and family may call on Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover Street, Caribou. Vigil prayers will start at 5:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 27, at Parish of the Precious Blood, Sacred Heart Catholic Church in North Caribou. Interment will follow services at Sacred Heart Cemetery, followed by a reception at the Parish Hall. Memories and condolences may be shared at
