Barbara's Story

CHERRYFIELD - Barbara L. Rossi was born Jan. 4, 1919, in Cherryfield. She grew up and graduated high school there.

She worked at home helping her husband, Fred A. Rossi, at his ice delivery business. Later, when they lived in Massachusetts, she was employed at a jewelry factory. In the 1970's she worked for Jasper Wyman's until retirement. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and crocheting, but most of all her family.

She is predeceased by her husband, Fred A. Rossi; parents, Frank and Marion Morse; daughter, Helen M. Feeney; siblings, Darrell, Delmar and Dana Morse, Sara Rossi and Joyce Welch. She leaves her daughter, Cynthia M. rown and husband, David of Cherryfield; 3 grandchildren, Dawn E. Curtis and husband, Arthur of Lamoine, Scott Brown and wife, Kelly of Lamoine, and Fred A. Brown and wife, Jennifer of Prospect; 7 great-grandchildren, Jamie Bradley, Nicole West, Wesley Curtis, Malarie Brown, Haley Brown and Isabella Brown; 6 great-great-grandchildren, Jasmine Bradley, Jourdan Bradley, Gage Astbury, Wyatt & Noah West and Dakota Curtis as well as many nieces and nephews.
