Barbara's Story

KENDUSKEAG - Barbara Pullen, 89, died October 23, 2015 at a Bangor health care facility. She was born in Corinth, July 5, 1926, daughter of Earle and Geneva (Hanson) Noyes.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Bangor, Minerva Grange, Levant, Penobscot Pomona, Maine State Grange and a member of the National Grange, and Good Samaritan Chapter, # 38 OES, of Kenduskeag. After selling her home in Kenduskeag, Barbara moved to the Country Villa in Bangor and then to the Engle Place Memory Care Unit at Ross Manor. We cannot thank you all enough for the kindness, care and respect you have shown to Mama as well as to her family over the past few years. Thank you also to St. Joseph Home Health and Hospice for your support when Mama required Home Care and then with End-of-Life care support with Hospice.

Surviving are six children, Mary Ann Roy and her husband, Mark, Teresa McDonald and her husband, George, Marilynn Allen and her husband, Mark, Dianne Townsend and her husband Bruce, Cameron Pullen and his wife, Jeannine, Cheryl Berry and her husband, Dennis; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Jane Fletcher and her husband, Charles; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Barbara was predeceased by, her husband, Lloyd W. Pullen, two sons, William "Billy" and Gregory Pullen, a grandson, Kevin Berry, a sister, Charlotte Pelland.
