Old Town - Audrey Patricia Lamarre, 77, died February 28, 2017, surrounded by family at her residence. She was born May 28, 1939, in Bangor, a daughter of Leon and Leona (Duplissie) Ouellette.
She was raised by Lorraine and Arthur Preble with her two foster brothers, Arthur and Albert Demers. She graduated Old Town High in 1957 and married Adrian Lamarre a year later. She spent 36 years working for LaBree's Bakery as a laborer, retiring only when she contracted lung cancer. She fought well, living well past the time that the doctor's gave her. She will be missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many, many friends.
She is survived by seven children: Robert Lamarre and his wife Debbie; Marilyn Desjardins and her husband Gerald; James Lamarre; Steven Lamarre; Andrea Lamarre; Lisa Cole and her husband Ed; David Gould and his wife Dawn; sister Mary Gero and foster brother Albert Demers.
She was predeceased by brothers, sisters, and one grandson.
Friends may call 4-7 p.m., Friday, March 3, 2017, at the Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. Burial will be later in the spring at Lawndale Cemetery, Old Town.
