BAR HARBOR - Ann MacGregor Sewall, 82, died peacefully on June 18, 2015. She was born July 8, 1932, in New York City: the daughter of Elizabeth Stebbins and David Gilbert Gregor.
She was a graduate of Ethel Walker School and Smith College ('54). She married in Watertown, NY, and moved to Greenwich, CT, and had two children.
Ann worked for the Stamford welfare department, then a family service agency in Yonkers, NY, as a psychiatric social worker, and then as a psychiatric case manager at a large managed healthcare firm in NYC.
Ann was interested in gardening, sailing, travel, playing bridge, and toward the end of her life, exploring a spiritual life.
She is survived by her husband Edward Kaelber, her daughter Leslie Cauldwell and her husband Tim Mulavey, her son Sam Cauldwell, and her standard poodle Cora.
A memorial service will be held at the Somesville Union Meeting House at 3pm on Thursday, June 25, 2015. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Alcyon Center, PO Box 40, Seal Cove, Maine 04674.
