- Ann S. Ingraham, age 83, of Granite Hill Estates, and formerly of Manchester, ME, and Dover-Foxcroft, ME, died April 6, 2017 at Alfond Center for Health in Augusta, ME, after a brief illness.
She was born in Lowell, MA, on July 17, 1933, the daughter of Col. Paul W. Dillingham (US Army Ret.) and Dorothy (Wright) Dillingham.
Mrs. Ingraham was a 1951 graduate of Bexley (Ohio) High School and a 1955 graduate of Colby College in Waterville, ME.
She was predeceased by her husband, John H. Ingraham; and by her parents.
Surviving are her children David W. Ingraham of Foxboro, MA, Susan B. McFarland and her husband, John of Buxton, ME; and Peter C. Ingraham and his wife Anne of Newton, MA; her grandchildren, W. Scott Sargent, Sarah B. Mainit and her husband Corey; John C. Ingraham and Joseph C. Ingraham. Also surviving is a brother, Admiral Paul W. Dillingham, Jr. (US Navy Ret.) of Rock Hall, MD, and a sister, Deborah D. Green of Camden, ME; three nieces and three nephews.
A reception for family and friends will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Granite Hill Estates, 60 Balsam Dr., Hallowell, ME. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Friends of Lithgow Library, P.O. Box 2456, Augusta, ME 04338-2456.
