- Anita passed away peacefully with family at her side at MaineGeneral Medical Center Augusta, Maine on June 26, 2017 after a long battle with diabetes. She was 80.
Mother of seven children, Anita always lived her life on her own terms. She moved to many different areas in Maine mostly to be with her family with all her seven kids living in Maine. Family was important to Anita and she always looked forward to getting mail or phone calls. Her favorite pastime was watching TV, especially around election time. She always wanted to be in the know and would readily offer her opinion on many subjects.
She was born in Canada to Archille and Rosemary Dube on February 28, 1937. She always joked about almost being a leap year baby. She is survived by her children: Raymond and partner Harriet Ecker of Limestone, Rena Wrobel and husband Ronald of Bar Harbor, Norma Fuller and husband Jeffrey of Saco, Ricky and partner Linda Levesque of Caswell, Jessie of Togus, Mickey and partner Kerrie of Augusta, and Amy and partner Roger of Augusta. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by the father of her seven children, Clifford LaBreck.
Graveside services will be held August 26, 2017 at 12 noon at St. Loius Cemetery in Limestone, Maine.
