Lewiston - Aline R. Cosgrove, 86, of Lewiston passed away after a short illness on November 28, 2016, in Carmel, NY, while visiting family. Mrs. Cosgrove was born in Lewiston on March 26, 1930, to Henry and Aline Bussiere. She graduated from Lewiston High School in 1948, and was employed by Benner's Clothing Store until her marriage to Charles L. Cosgrove, Jr. on June 23, 1951.
They moved to Freedom, Maine, returning to Lewiston in 1966. They enjoyed almost 53 years of marriage, raising 5 children, and, in retirement, vacationing in Florida until Charlie's death in 2004. Baked beans, hot dogs, Burger King, and lobster were her favorite meals along with a cup of Dunkin' Donuts coffee, medium with skim milk. Devoted to her family, Grammie spent weeks every summer entertaining at the "beach" and traveling to New York, Pennsylvania, Florida, Virginia and Iowa to spend holidays and celebrations with her children and their families.
