Agnes's Story

SOUTH BERWICK AND MILO - Agnes L. Pickard, 82, wife of the late James A. Pickard, passed away April 28, 2015, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. She was born February 25, 1933, in St. Albans, the daughter of Walter and Louise (Allen) Stone.

Mrs. Pickard and her husband owned and operated a sporting goods store in Milo for many years. Later Agnes and Asa were at Pickard's Sport Shop in Brewer.

She is survived by a son, Asa Pickard and his wife, Ramona, of Sanford; five grandchildren: Amanda Williams and husband, Raymond, Asa Pickard and wife Trista, William Pickard and wife, Judy, Jennifer Stubbs, Amy Stubbs; four great-grandchildren, Addison, Katherine, Sophie, and Asa. She also leaves three sisters and one brother of her eleven siblings.

Mrs. Pickard was predeceased by a son, James Pickard, Jr.; two daughters, Jamie B. Pickard and Bonnie Pickard; and a grandson, James A. Pickard, III.

A funeral service will be conducted 2pm Saturday, May 2, 2015, at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo, with Pastor Phil McGlauflin officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery, Milo. Condolences and memories may be expressed at
