Adam's Story

CORINNA - Adam Rush, 26, passed from this life January 29, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Bangor. He was born August 13, 1989 in Bangor, a son of June (Allen) Rush, and Mark and Mia Rush. He was surrounded by his loved ones when Jesus called him home.

Adam graduated from Dexter Regional High School, Class of 2008. Adam was honored in his Senior year to represent his high school at the Lobster Bowl. He also played football at Husson University for a year. He also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, four wheeling and horseshoes. After attending Husson, Adam joined the millwrights with his brothers at Local 1121. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Snows Parish, St. Anne's Church, Dexter.

He is survived by his parents; his paternal grandparents, Richard and Celine Rush of Benedicta; his brothers and their wives, Troy and Amanda, Greg and Tara, Ryan and Sylvia; nieces and nephews Brandon, Alexus, Caleb, Dalton, Lily, Jasmin, Daisey, Drax, Dillon, Nathan, Celine, Corbin and Nolan, whom he loved very much; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins; and his friend to the end Michael Lockhart.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, John and Margaret Allen and his uncle, David Allen.

Adam was given much hope in his last days by Father Nicholas who called every night to pray with him.

Family and friends may call from 4-6 P.M. Wednesday, February 3rd, at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main Street, Dexter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated 11 A.M. Thursday, February 4th at St. Anne's Church in Dexter with the Rev. Frs. Emile Dube and Nicholas Porathur officiating. Spring burial will be in St. Benedict's Cemetery, Benedicta.
