Adam's Story

Hartland - Adam Warren Littlefield, 27, died unexpectedly October 9, 2016, at his Boston residence. He was born February 12, 1989, in Waterville, the son of Dwayne and Teresina (Gould) Littlefield.
He graduated from Nokomis Regional High, class of 2007, and was attending the New England School of Law. At the time of his death he was pursuing his life-long plan of becoming an attorney. Adam enjoyed life to the fullest. He touched a wide range of people and was a role model to all that he encountered. He was a member of the Corinthian Lodge #95 Masons, a brother of Beta Theta Pi and a member of the Republican Party. Adam was a former selectperson for the Town of Hartland. He was currently a resident assistant at MIT.
He is survived by his father, Dwayne; mother, Teresina; his sister, Elise; stepmom (his words), Sue Norris and her sons, Garth and Tyler; grandparents, Ken and Alberta Gould, and Elwin and Christie Littlefield; several aunts, uncles, cousins; his second family, The Smith's - Carl, Maryanne, Taylor and MacKenzie; and his special friend, Michaela Hughes, the one he said he was going to marry!
Friends and relatives may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 14, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 15, at his grandparents residence, 2933 Athens Road, Hartland, with the Rev. Mark Tanner officiating. A Masonic service will also be conducted at this time. Burial will be in the Littlefield Cemetery, Hartland, followed by a time of celebration under a big tent done Adam's way!
