- Waneta Mae (Milner) Dicker, 81, wife of the late Donald Dicker, Sr., died January 24, 2017, at a Bangor hospital. She was born in Lincoln, July 23, 1935, the daughter of William A. Milner Sr. and Uldine E. (Lane) Milner. Waneta loved watching loons, quilting and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by four children, Diana and her husband Jerry Jipson, Donnie and Barbie Dicker, Bobby and Rachel Dicker, all of Lincoln, and Barry Dicker of Bangor; grandchildren, Rusty and Amanda Dicker of Millinocket, Dan and Nikki Dicker of Fort Carson, Co, David Dicker of Bangor, B.J. and Billie Dicker of Lincoln, Jesse Dicker of Lincoln, Alex and Mallory Hill of Bangor, Heather and Joana Mae Hill of Lincoln, Lauren Mae Dicker and Jon Matson of Old Town; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Jenna, Cameron, RJ, Olivia, Bryce, Anakin, Alex, and Addie Dicker, and Gavin Hill; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Special family friends Joe and Patrice Hill of Bartlett, Tenn. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a sister, Victoria Chandler, a brother William A. "Sonny" Milner Jr., and a great grandchild, Matson, who she got to meet in Heaven.
At her request there will be no funeral service. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Lincoln Cemetery.
