I did not have the chance to meet Tyler as an adult, but my childhood memory of his buzzer-beating shot in the state championship game in 1965, heard by my family on Aroostook County radio, was one of my early motivations to pursue a career in broadcasting.

I still have the original recording, taped by my brother, Storme.

My thoughts are with his family, and I hope I was able to bring back a reflection of one of Easton's shining moments.

Saddened to hear of Mr Perry's passing. I have many great memories from growing up with Tyson and Jess, and as my teacher. He's also where I got my basketball start with, "Tyler's Tykes!"
He always had a big smile and was always very good to us kids/ young adults. Thinking of all his family at this time. Love and prayers.
