- Thomas C. Glidden, "Jukebox Tom", 64, Bradley, passed away September 13, 2017 after a courageous battle with Emphysema. Born July 30, 1953 to Benjamin "Clare" Glidden and Lucille (Boydston) Glidden. He married his childhood sweetheart, Sue Spinney in 1974.
Tom attended schools in Bradley and Old Town and was a member of Maine Air National Guard from 1974-1980 where he obtained his Electrician's license during basic training. He retired as the Electrical Foreman in 2011 after a 37 year career at the former BMHI.
He enjoyed restoring 1950's Seeburg Jukeboxes, picnics on the coast, woodworking, jig saw puzzles, photography, electronics, and Cribbage. Sue often referred to him as a "Jack of all trades, Master of one", as he was skilled in many trades and could repair most anything. His family and home were his pride and joy.
Tom leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years; son, Jason and wife Krissy of Scarborough; daughter, Angela LeePow and husband Chris of Saco; two grandchildren Owen and Cora.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life at the family home in Bradley from 1:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 30.
