Thelma's Story

DEXTER - Thelma Clara Rennebu, 85, died on July 4, 2016 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born January 20, 1931 in Corinna. She was employed at the Dexter Shoe Company and Eastland Woolen Mill in Corinna.

She is survived by her children, Gail and husband Dale Thompson of Dexter, Pat Richards of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Glenice and husband Wayne Cookson of Belmont, Keith and wife Teresa Richards of Garland; siblings, William and wife Nancy Easley of Port Angeles, WA, Cora Bush, Linda and husband Keith Fennelly of Newport, Francine and husband Peter Hickey of Dixmont; step children, Milton and wife Linda Rennebu of Cherryfield, Timothy Rennebu of San Diego, CA, Patricia and husband Lee Bennett of Hampden, Christopher and wife Robin Rennebu of East Eddington; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Ralph and Clara (Richardson) Easley of Corinna; a grandson Darrin Jackson, the children's father Clifford L. Richards, 2 brothers John and Roger; and sister Agnes "Polly"; and her husband Paul Rennubu on December 13, 2015.

A graveside committal for Paul and Thelma will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, at the convenience of family. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport. Those who wish may leave written condolences at www.CrosbyNeal.com
