OLD TOWN - Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt

Thelma J. (Stairs) Feero, of Dracut, Massachusetts, died March 30, 2016, in Dracut, after a brief illness, aged 73 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Myles E. Feero Sr.

Born in Old Town, Maine, March 11, 1943, a daughter of the late Jesse and Nora (Fogarty) Stairs. She received her education in the Old Town school system.

She worked in the Lowell Mills for over 30 years, mostly at Joan Fabrics.

Thelma loved all animals, but also enjoyed shopping, and more recently, camping with family in the White Mountains and Bar Harbor. A devoted wife and mother, she dedicated her life to raising her family and always put their needs before her own. She will always be remembered for her spirit of adventure and love of family, especially her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by five children, Cheryl A. Finneral and her husband, Michael of Dracut, Myles E. Feero Jr. and his fiancée, Diana Bravo of Valparaiso, Indiana, Wayne A. Feero and his wife, Kelly of Milford, Maine, Francis R. Feero and his wife, Rebecca of North Judson, Indiana, and Glenn S. Feero and his fiancée, Jennifer Barden of Methuen; fifteen grandchildren, Alyssa, Kristian, Lindsey, Elizabeth, Emelynn, Mercedes, Justin, Jordan, Kenny, Jonathan, Katelynn, Brandon, Ryan, Laura, and Gabriel, and four great-grandchildren; a brother, Charlie Stairs and his wife, Pat; and a sister, Debra DeWitt Ahern and her husband, Richard Ahern; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, including two special coloring buddies, Angela and Vanessa. She was the sister of the late Jesse Stairs, Muriel Dally, Francis Stairs, Calista "Chris" Stairs and Melvin Stairs.

Friends will be received at the MORSE-BAYLISS Funeral Home, 122 Princeton Boulevard, Lowell, MA. on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. Her Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael Church, 543 Bridge St., Lowell, MA. on Monday at 10 a.m. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment is private.
