Sudie had a "heart of gold" and was always there for anyone who needed her. She was our dependable "Aunt Sudie" and will be greatly missed by many. She also had a great compassion for animals. Cats and dogs were always an important part of her life. She was also a great cook and was often tuned into the cooking channels. She like to collect different recipes and cookbooks. According to many, no one made some dishes as good as our Aunt Sudie. In 2011 she was faced with an unfortunate health issue, but she accepted it like a real trooper and was able to drive herself to treatments for nearly 6 years.
She is survived by and will always be loved by many nieces and nephews, several cousins in North Carolina and many close friends.
