- Scott Douglas Tomilson, 65, of Holden passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2018, at Eastside Rehab, while recovering from a hip fracture. Scott was born on January 24, 1953 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, to Lloyd and Evelyn Tomilson.
Scott was a Vietnam veteran, loving father, and worked many jobs. He was a kind, generous, and loving soul. He was filled with stories, humor, sarcasm, words of wisdom, and philosophical conversations for all who wanted to listen. He is leaving behind his brother Lloyd, his children Danielle, Scott, Siobhan, Joel, Kayla, Brianna, Chris, and Sean, his grand children Kaleigha, Isaac, and Darron as well as several others that he had not met, his brother in-laws, sister in-laws, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his significant other and love Katherine "Kathy", his parents Lloyd and Evelyn, his grandparents "parents" Arlene and Stanley, as well as his sisters Patricia "Patty" and Arlene.
There will be a potluck "party" to celebrate his life on Saturday, July 21st, 2018 at 3 p.m., located at 569 Upper Dedham Rd, Dedham, Me 04429. Special thank you to Eastside Rehabilitation and Living Center for the care he received the past few weeks.
