Russell was always a special man to me. My husband Cleve and I worked for many years for the Huston family , and we were always treated as family. He always called me 'Trouble' and grinned when he said it.

I am so sorry for your loss. He will always be remembered by me with love and respect.

Sorry to hear of your Father’s passing. I will always remember him as a very smart man. I still tell stories today of his dedication to improving any piece of farm equipment or process to increase efficiency and productivity. I still remember helping load 50 lb. bags of potatoes and taking a try at sewing the bags. The string didn’t break once. When I ask how come it didn’t break on me at your farm but it broke all the time at another farmer’s packing shed, he responded-I soak my string in oil. Learned many a lesson working for your dad some of which I still apply today. All the best to you and your family.

We extend our deepest sympathy to Russell's family. I, Janet, was a 2nd cousin to Russell and remember going through grade school in Perham and then high school in Washburn with him and his brother, Sterling and sister, June. That was so long ago. Blessings from NE Tennessee

Russell was a very special person to me as a child and as an adult. I have many great memories with the Huston family that will always be held dear to my heart. His love of the Farm and skills as a mechanic was a joy to observe.

Our prayers are with you. I know this has been a long hard fought battle. I have so many fond memories of your family -- babysitting Mark, David and Eric and working on the harvester. Your Dad was a great farmer to work for -- always so patient and kind! May God comfort you at this time.

I purchased the Huston Family Home in Perham in 1976 and that was the first time I had ever met Russell. We became friends and he was one of the most honest and truthful person you could know. Always ready to lend a helping hand. my deepest sympathy to the family
