MILFORD - Robert "Bob" W. Perro, 67, died on March 25, 2016, surrounded by his family at EMMC. He was born in 1948 in Old Town and graduated from Old Town High School in 1966.
He was predeceased by his mother, Simone (Lavoie) Perro and his father, William "Bill" Perro.
Bob is survived by his loving and loyal wife of 23 years, Elizabeth (Ward) Perro, his children and stepchildren, Karen "Kae" Perro, Sherry Perro, Dan Perro, Chris Perro, Stephanie York, and Richard Watson. He is also survived by his sisters, Doreen Burpee, Dianne Perro, and Debra Perro; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncle and cousins.
Bob was a Vietnam veteran and served 3 years in the Army. He served his country with pride, including his tour of duty in Vietnam.
A celebration of life is planned for May 21, from 1-5 p.m., at the K of C Hall on Gilman Falls Avenue in Old Town.
Memorial gifts may be made in Bob's memory to the Maine Veterans Home Activity Fund, 44 Hogan Road, Bangor, ME.
