- Raymond George Quist, 80, of Owens Way, died Sept. 10, 2016, at Wolfeboro Bay in Wolfeboro, NH.
He was born June 10, 1936, in Trenton, NJ, son of the late Paul and Jessie E. (Johnson) Quist.
He grew up in Trenton, NJ and moved to Lincoln, ME in 1952. He lived in several locations before moving to Moultonborough in 2012.
Ray graduated from Mattanawcook Academy in Lincoln, ME in 1954. After graduation, he served his country with the United Sates Air Force for four years. After the military, he attended M.C.I. in Pittsfield, ME and Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA.
Ray worked for Laboratory for Electronics in Boston, MA, Sanders Associates in Nashua, NH, prior to starting his business, Tech Resources Inc.in Milford with his business partner, Robert Burns, in 1979. He retired in 2012. He enjoyed music, antique cars, sailing, playing baseball and basketball.
He leaves his wife, Rhoda (Flanders) Quist of Moultonborough; and his 2 daughters, June and Joan Quist of Laconia, NH.
A Memorial Service will be at the Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 85 Mill St., Wolfeboro, NH, Friday, Sept. 16 at 3:00 PM.
Burial will be in Shannon Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wolfeboro is assisting the family with the arrangements.
