WASHBURN - Ralph B. Irving, 94, died peacefully October 14, 2014 at his apartment in Leisure Village, where he received exceptional care. He was born March 29, 1920 in Presque Isle, the son of Roy and Isabelle Irving.
Ralph was a long time member of the Perham Baptist Church, where he was active in church leadership. Ralph's life passion was serving God, loving his wife and family and raising potatoes. Ralph particularly enjoyed farming with his long time associates, friends, Steve and Judy Marr. Many will remember his selfless generosity; when he saw a need he took action.
The last several months were not easy for Ralph but his faith in Jesus and his hope in heaven were evident to the end.
He is survived by a son and his wife, Alan and Ginette Irving of Ellenton, Fl; two daughters, Patsy and Charles Coffin of Lehigh, FL, and Cindy and Paul Callnan of Houlton, 11 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by the love of his life, Maddie in 2012 and a daughter, Sharon Irving in 1970.
Funeral services will be conducted 2pm, Sunday, October 19th at Perham Baptist Church, the Rev. David Goupille officiating. Relatives and friends may call at 1pm until the time of the service at the church. Interment will take place at the Crouseville Cemetery.
