- Pauline E. Kilcollins, 87, passed away September 14, 2017 at The Aroostook Medical Center. She was born August 30, 1930 to Alonzo and Doris (Hemore) Hartley, the youngest of four children.
Pauline attended Bridgewater Classical Academy class of 1949. She then married Paul Kilcollins and together they raised three children and maintained a farm on the "Bootfoot Road." She hauled almost every child in Bridgewater in the back of their pick-up so they could pick potatoes.
After her children were grown, she worked for several years at Potato Service. She spent a lot of time making homemade bread, reading, knitting, and looked forward to visits from family and friends. Pauline was a member of the Eastern Star and recently received her 25 year pin.
She is survived by her daughter, Carmen Wilde and her husband David of Haines City, Florida, son Fred Kilcollins of Hermon, four grandchildren, Allison Ireland, Emmi Mitchell, Paul Kilcollins and Derek Kilcollins, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her son, Jeffery Kilcollins, and brothers Harold Hartley, Murray Hartley and Basil Hartley.
A graveside memorial service will be held at the Smith Cemetery in Bridgewater on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. For online memory book and to leave condolences, please visit www.duncan-graves.com.
