- Pauline (Polly) E. Look Kenney, 90, left this earth to be with her heavenly father on January 22, 2017. She was born on May 21, 1926, daughter of the late Clayton and Elvena Look.
She was married to her late husband, Albion (Tuddy) L. Kenney Sr. for 66 years. Being married to an Army Master Sargent, she had to do a lot of traveling. The most challenging was her voyage to Germany with her three young boys in tow, ages 6 months to 4 years. Being the strong and determined lady that she was, all went well, and it became a story she was always very proud to tell. After his retirement in 1964, they moved to Jonesport to finish raising their family. She later became a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
One of her greatest loves was her church. She was baptized at the RLDS Church in May of 1983 and became a Deacon in October of 1990. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school and spent many years cooking for various church events. Everyone loved her strawberry pies.
One of her favorite things to do was making special birthday cakes for her grandchildren. And we all looked forward to her homemade mincemeat pies, biscuits and mudflat pies.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Lillias and Kathy, and two brothers, Clayton Jr. and Ivan. She is survived by her three sons, Albion Jr. and wife Wendy, of Rollinsworth, NH, Gary and wife Joanne of Rockland, and Dale and wife Cynthia of Winterport; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Pauline's life will be held at the Church of Christ in Jonesport on February 12th at 1 p.m. A committal service is planned for this spring.
Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.ripostafh.com.
