CORINNA AND ST. ALBANS - Patricia Evelyn (Brannen) Pearson, 87, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 27, 2015 in Augusta. She was born March 17, 1928 in Merrill, a daughter of Alfred "Babe" and Evelyn (Anderson) Brannen.
She was raised in Oakfield and graduated from Oakfield High School. Pat graduated from Madigan Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1949, receiving an RN degree. She worked at Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield from 1974 to 2003 in various capacities, retiring as an OR nurse.
Pat enjoyed spending time at the coast with her husband Linwood "Bud" Pearson and lived on the farm in St. Albans after his death. Pat enjoyed seeing her grandchildren grow up and enjoyed the abundant wildlife she could see from her back window. She was a member of the Grace Linn United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son Michael and wife Christine Gee of South China; 3 daughters, Evelyn and husband Bill Kieltyka of Winthrop, Pamela Gee and wife Amy Wheeler of Freeport, Janyce and husband Bob Volodkevich of Washington State; and her daughter in law, Christina Gee of St. Albans; a brother Victor Brannen of CT; a sister, Priscilla and husband Ken Swallow of Houlton; 7 grandchildren, Brannen, Devin and Courtney Gee, Maria and Katie Volodkevich, Molly Kieltyka, and Antonio Wheeler.
She was predeceased by her husband Linwood "Bud" Pearson and her son Newman B. Gee.
A memorial service will be held at 11 A. M. Friday, October 2nd, at the Grace Linn United Methodist Church in Hartland with the Rev. Terry McKinley officiating. Friends may call from 10 A.M. until the time of services. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
