- Norman E. Rockwell, 82, of Corinth, Maine, and Polk City, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 28, 2017. He is the son of Otis and Ada Rockwell. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Glenda Rockwell, daughter, Dawn Cote, her husband, Mark, son, Douglas Rockwell, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He's from a family of ten brothers and sisters along with their wives, husbands, and children.
Norman worked at the Maine Air National Guard for 30 years. He enjoyed 30 years of retirement fixing old tractors, riding motorcycle, flying and even building his own airplane. He loved the sunshine in Florida during the winter and lobsters in Maine during the summer. A generous and loving person always helping people in need. He was loved by many and made friends where ever he went. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
There will be a graveside service in the spring with the date to be announced.
